GEROPHARM was Awarded the Quality Prize by the Government of the Russian Federation

GEROPHARM was awarded the Quality Prize 2020 by the Government of the Russian Federation in the category of companies with staff number greater than 1000. The awarding ceremony took place in Moscow on December 16. The winners received the prestigious award from Yuriy Borisov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. The event was attended by Pyotr Rodionov, General Director of GEROPHARM, and Vilena Galkina, Government Relations Director.

The Quality Prize is the Russian award given annually as part of a large-scale national project for business process assessment. In 2020, 402 organisations representing different sectors participated in the competition, with the largest number of applications coming from the food and healthcare industries.

Within two shortlisting stages, the participants were assessed for such parameters as degree of management involvement, policy and strategy, career opportunities and incentives for personnel, internal resource and business partner relations management, product and service quality, customer satisfaction, as well as public image.

Based on the results of all assessments, 11 organisations were named winners in three categories: organisations with personnel number up to 250, 250 to 1000, and above 1000.

“The Government prize is a high recognition of our quality management system. Being a pharmaceutical manufacturer we not only make sure the procedures of medicinal product development and manufacture meet international standards, but also adopt innovations, advanced technologies, and control methods in all business processes,” Pyotr Rodionov, General Director, GEROPHARM, says.

The audit conducted as part of the Quality Prize identifies all merits and flaws of the existing processes and this information is delivered by the competition organisers to each participant for further improvement of their management system.
