On April 20 the delegation of business representatives of the Kingdom of Bayhreyn accompanied by St. Petersburg Vice-Governor S.N. Movchan visited the R&D Centre of GEROPHARM, Group of Companies.
The aim of the visit was to establish working relationships and
organize mutually beneficial cooperation in various industries. A tour
for the guests was organized by Gleb Feldman, Deputy Director of
Russian and foreign delegations (from Japan, Kazakhstan, Russian
regions, etc.) as well as representatives of public authorities
regularly visit the R&D Centre in order to share professional
experience and technologies. This helps to change the stereotype about
the quality of Russian drug products and create the image of a modern,
technologically advanced and efficient pharmaceutical industry.
Currently GEROPHARM implements a number of projects on production of
new drugs together with partners from USA, UK, France, Spain,
Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Japan and South Korea. The company closely
collaborates with European institutions in the field of scientific
research and clinical drug trials.
The top-priority activity for GEROPHARM is the development of drugs for diabetes treatment (including analogue insulins), neuroprotective drugs, drugs for dementia and brain injury treatment and urological drugs sold also under the federal target programs of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Analogue insulins are developed in accordance with international standards which ensures high export potential of the project.
