GEROPHARM’s project of new plant opening entered the top six best works of the Silver Archer National Award for Public Relations

An open defence of projects of the companies included in the short-list of the Silver Archer National Award for Public Relations took place on 27-28 February. 156 communication campaigns implemented in 2013 was assessed by the members of the Expert Council which in this year are Vice-President of IABC/Russia, Head of Media Relations Committee, Deputy Managing Editor of RIA Novosti Valery Levchenko, Director of International Projects for Mikhailov and Partners Ellen Pinchuk, Vice-President of Corporate Communications at ABBY HQ Nastasya Savina, Head of Commercial and Special Projects of Яndex Anatoly Topol, Director of the Public Relations Department of ROSGOSSTRAKH Group of Companies Andrei Biryukov and many other notable experts in the field of communications and marketing. More than 65 projects included in the short-lists in various categories were entitled to be publicly presented in the final round. The jury assessed the results of such presentations and determined the winners.

On 28 February, the XVII Ceremony of the Silver Archer National Award for Public Relations took place in the RIA Novosti International Multimedia Press Centre at Zubovsky Boulevard, Moscow.

The ceremony was opened by The Best Project of Healthy and Athletic Life Promotion Award. The CROS Group’s Project of Sberbank All-Russian Campaign PR-Support Green Marathon was recognized as the best project.

According to the results of public hearings, Moscow Exchange won the Best Business Communication Project Award for its project T+2 Trading Regime Introduction in the Russian Stock Market. The Project of GEROPHARM, Group of Companies Clear Intentions and Visible Results was also nominated for this award. According to the defence results, the project entered the top six best works in the category.

“Recognition of experts in the field of public relations and appreciation of our project devoted to the plant opening are very important for GEROPHARM,” said Ekaterina Artemyeva, Head of PR department at GEROPHARM, Group of Companies. “Primarily because this allows to return back to challenging industry issues again in a new format and with a new audience; These issues are the creation of a strong, import-independent domestic pharmaceutical industry and prevention and control of social diseases such as diabetes. And of course it is important that our example denies the myth that only large corporations with substantial budgets can make bright and catchy projects. It is not true. The most important thing are the correct inclusion of an overall business task in the coordinate communication system and a unique idea as the project basis.”

The experts and jury members recognized AGT Communications Group as the winner of Global World Communications Award. Football for Friendship is the project of Gazprom which is devoted to building global communications through social initiatives for effective interaction with all target audiences on the relevant markets.

The CROS Group’s Project Accessibility Map won the Best Social Communication and Charity Project Award. Primum Agency for Corporate and Financial Communications won the Best Project for Promotion of Scientific Achievements and Innovations Award for its Media Campaign of Innovative Activity and Youth Success Stories Promotion. The Izhevsk Association of City Development won the Best Territory Development and Promotion Project Award for its ARGO Project.

Famous artist, philosopher, art critic, journalist and writer Maksim Kantor won the Cultural Contribution Award. He is the author of seven analects, stories and novels.

Svetlana Mironyuk won the Personality Award for creating RIA Novosti, the largest Information media holding in Russia.

The award was presented by Igor Pisarsky, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Silver Archer National Award for Public Relations.

The most intriguing award of the Silver Archer is the Master Award where the winner is chosen by the audience. According to the results of public presentations and SMS voting, Deputy Director of Chief Editor of Russia Today (RIA Novosti) Valery Levchenko was recognized as the winner. The CROS Group President Sergey Zverev and Director of the National News Service Inna Kharchenko congratulated their colleague.
