Ekaterina Artemyeva, Head of PR at "GEROPHARM", Group of Companies, joins Russia’s TOP-30 Corporate Communications Executives

Ekaterina Artemyeva, Head of the PR Department at GEROPHARM, Group of Companies, ranked 29 based on the results of TOP-COMM 2014, an All-Russia Rating of Corporate Communications and Corporate Relations Executives and Departments prepared by the Russian Association of Communications and Corporate Media Executives (AKMR). 215 executives responsible corporate relations and communications representing 20 major sectors of economy took part in the survey. Participating in the 2014 contest were such companies as INTER RAO UES, JSC, RusHydro, JSC, Aeroflot, JSC, VTB 24 (JSC), Gazprom, JSC, EUROCEMENT Group, JSC, Deutsche Bank, Ltd., Coca Cola HBS Eurasia, Unilever, Danone, Financial Corporation URALSIB, OJSC, Rosgosstrakh, Group of Companies, KAMAZ, OJSC, Rostelecom, OJSC, etc. Based on the results of the contest, the organisers prepared a TOP-100 Rating of Corporate Communications and Corporate Relations Executives and Departments.

The main objective of TOP-COMM 2014 was to evaluate the performance of organisations that do business in Russia in terms of how efficient their executives in charge of strategic corporate communications are and how efficiently they manage their departments, as well as to find out and acknowledge the best professionals in the industry and to identify the best organisations based on the totality of the factors being evaluated. The independent monitor of the survey was Deloitte CIS.

“The high estimate made of the communications aspect of our business is, first of all, a high estimate of GEROPHARM’s overall history of public relations, of our success story,” Ekaterina Artemyeva comments. “It is important for our communication team and for me personally that our strategic communications efforts do promote the achievement of the Group’s business objectives. During the last one-and-a-half years, much has been done to build and streamline our external communications system. We have implemented a number of remarkable projects that increased our brand awareness, strengthened the loyalty of our target groups and allowed us to create a dialogue with new audiences. Actually, maintaining a consistent, mutually rewarding dialogue is just what our work is aimed at, and I am glad that we have once again received assurance that we are generally going in the right direction.”
