To make access to the information about living with diabetes easier, in 2021, GEROPHARM launched the Diabetes Academy educational platform within the Company’s key social project titled Diabetes in Persons.

Diabetes Academy provides diabetes patients, their families, and all those who deal with the disease in a professional capacity with the information that is essential to maintain high-standard life quality. Access is free for all: the training sessions are conducted for groups of people in an online format. It means that anyone can join sessions from any place in the world and still have visual contact and communicate with other trainees. Having completed a course, each person gets a certificate.

The project consists of 8 educational modules meant for different target groups. These are type 1 and 2 diabetes patients with different periods of experience, education professionals dealing with children with diabetes, and patients who need post-covid rehabilitation.

High-skilled healthcare professionals and psychologists are engaged in the project. Participants highly appreciate the project.
