I have been working in GEROPHARM for more tan 10 years. In 2008 I got a position of a medical representative in Kursk. In 2013 I was appointed Key Account Manager of Central Region.
My secret of success is simple: I truly love my job, the company, the products, my colleagues and clients. I like setting goals and reaching them, I enjoy solving problems, especially difficult ones.
Coming back to cold February of 2008, to my first working day in the field, I still remember everything in details… As for the feelings, I was not scared although before GEROPHARM I had worked as a neurologist but not in the pharma field. I remember feeling euphoria, joy and inspiration... That day I was doing visits till late evening… and I fell in love… fell in love with my job... fell in love with MY GEROPHARM….
Undoubtedly, everything cannot be just perfect at work. There are hard periods, difficult clients who bring negative attitude, sometimes my phone has low battery by noon because of calls and I only think of how to find time for everything and how to do better in a certain situation. My colleagues help me who are always ready to assist and her me out. The have become a true family for me who always give a helping hand at a difficult moment and be happy for your success.
I think employees of GEROPHARM is a special kind of value. Before going to an interview to GEROPHARM think of the following: if you are an honest, sympathetic and determined person then GEROPHARM is a your place. Always set a goal and go towards it without giving up, hold on until you win. When you think everything is lost, it means everything is saved.
I have been working in GEROPHARM for 7 years since 2011. My career began from the position of a medical representative, in 2016 I was promoted to the Territorial Manager.
Speaking of my job, I can say I am very lucky as I enjoy doing what I do!

GEROPHARM South Region is another secret of my luck and success. Our team always look for extraordinary solutions and I can say we are never bored! It is important to act extraordinarily in our job, break patterns and always move forward. We try different approaches and fresh solutions looking for a hundred-percent right one which can five us results. This is not just a secret of success but the law of probability.
My first working day at GEROPHARM was extremely positive. I chose to visit a medical and preventive institution where pioneers of medicine were working. Visiting neurologists and ophthalmologists (we only had 2 products back then – Cortexin® and Retinalamin®) I didn’t have time to present the product as the doctors began telling me about our products themselves and only good stuff. In pharmacies (there used to be less of them than there are today) where I was standing in a line behind other buyers , someone would always buy Cortexin®.
Everyone who wants to learn to solve problems and tasks in business should set priorities in a right way – I think this is the hardest part of our job. My mentor and supervisor Regional Manager Irina and logical thinking help me handle it (I write a list of tasks in a notebook, analyze terms and importance). Sometimes you have to trust your instincts.
For us, the team of GEROPHARM South, it is important to have people with similar views in the team: determined, open, inspired and able to care. Creative approach to solving problems, friendliness and a sense of humor are always welcomed. The most important is to be yourself, join our team if you truly want to enjoy your work!
I have been working at the company for 3.5 years. My story of relationship with GEROPHARM started from an interview. I remember quite well at the beginning of March of 2015 I was invited to an interview at 8 p.m. which surprised me.
When I was preparing for the interview I got interested in the company’s original products and good feedback from doctors. After the interview with Irina Shpakova (Regional Manager, supervisor) my desire to work in the company got stronger and I was preparing for the second stage twice harder.
I remember my first day in the company quite well, it started from congratulations of my colleagues from the South Region and it inspired me even more.
By prioritizing key doctors in the region and with the help of persistent smart visits in accordance with the marketing strategy I was able to exceed the goal in terms of all products. Of course, not everything was so smooth, I got difficulties that my supervisors and mentors Irina Shpakova and Roman Stupin helped me cope with.
At the end of the year I won one of the awards and became “the best medical representative of 2015”. I was offered to try myself as Territorial Manager as they had a vacancy. This was a new interesting and important borderline for me. I understood the new position was difficult and engaged responsibility but I accepted he offer without hesitation. The most important thing for me as a manager is constant deficit of time, time-management, my supervisor and my team help solve this problem.
Today my team is a part of be best South Region and I am proud of it. We cannot afford reach the goal less tan for 100 % as this is the result of our work. Success of the team starts from personal success of every employee. Every victory is based on hard and painstaking everyday work.
I have worked at GEROPHARM for 8 years. For 4 years of work I passed all the steps to the position of the Key Account Manager (KAM). I was KAM for 4 years and also passed all the steps to senior KAM. I have been Regional KAM since August of 2018.
My secret of success is high responsibility for myself, for the result of my team and my result, strict self-discipline at work, the desire to learn new things, to study, to evolve together with the company in order to comply with the new tendencies of the pharmaceutical business.
I still remember my first working day. 8 years ago there was only 2 original products in the company’s portfolio: Cortexin® and Retinalamin®. My first visit as Medical Representative was to Irkutsk Children’s Clinic No. 2 to a pediatric neurologist. I was pleasantly surprised by the doctor’s loyalty to Cortexin®, he described positive results of therapy with Cortexin in case of developmental speech delay. I came out of the doctor’s office feeling proud of Cortexin®, of GEROPHARM and of our domestic pharma on the whole. I understood I had made the right choice applying for a job in this company. After 8 years I can say the same thing.

Focus on the result but nor on the process, a responsible attitude towards the tasks set, self-discipline, an ability to work in a team, constant development of personal and professional competences, deep knowledge of nosology and the company’s products.
It is very important to be open and honest at the interview, to have both personal and professional competences (especially for positions of managers), to be ready for adaptation and transformation for new conditions, to have values that consistent with the company's values.
I have been working in GEROPHARM for 6 years since 2012.
You can ask me what my secret of success is and I can answer you that there are no secrets at all. People and the team are what’s important! It is important to find the people who have similar goals, who will move forward despite any troubles and difficulties. Even when you are absolutely exhausted (sometimes it happens) they pull you forward and it is a shame not to match them. And when you have an entire team of stars you will definitely achieve success!!!
I remember my first working day very well, although it seems is has been forever. I remember writing 25 letters and getting no response, I remember the first meeting with colleagues and how they didn’t like me, the first meetings with “our” Opinion Leader, when they do not allow you to come in and you feel lost and do not understand what is happening.
This job is quite hard, being a regional manager in a developing ambitious domestic company is not the easiest road in life. But I have support of my family, my Team and my supervisors and this is crucial.

When you come to GEROPHARM South Region you need to understand two things:
The first one – it is not going to be easy. You have to work really hard. Don’t say “I can’t”, think of “what you have done so that you can”.
The second one – there is your new family, colleagues support you and take care of you, strive and achieve, go forward and handle difficulties. We want to be driven by what we do and like (no matter how high-flown it sounds) our job, our products and our Company.

I got a position of a medical representative in GEROPHARM in 2007. This is my first pharmaceutical company in the sakes field and my first job after graduation from the Medical University of Irkutsk.
I cannot say it was easy at the start as you understand you changed places with a doctor and these are completely different things, different values.

The most important is to BELIEVE in your product, and if you try it on yourself this job will suck you in forever!
My second secret of success
There is a good saying: “do not tell a client about a product, tell him about his benefit!” A client has a problem and you have a solution, these are Yin and Yang. I have found this solution, found my approach to clients.
My third secret of success
I think it is necessary you and a client speak the same language and you always have to educate yourself. If the things you say are easy to understand for a five-year-old child, it means you a professional who can make anyone understand how valuable your product is. Listen to your client, pay attention to the definitions he uses and adapt your explanations to these definitions.
In order to become a successful sales manager one should forget about personal lack of confidence in success. For that one should have professional knowledge and skills, proper self-esteem, motivation and inspiration. Inspiration is a special state of a person that can be described by high performance, a huge growth and concentration of person’s strength. It is a typical feature and an element of creativity.
